about me

I provide coaching and consultancy informed by psychology and neuroscience, helping individuals and organisations navigate complexity through evidence-informed approaches

Dr. Giulia Galli, Accredited Coach, Chartered Psychologist and Neuroscientist

MY BACKGROUND

I am an accredited coach, a Chartered Psychologist with a PhD in Psychology, and an academic neuroscientist. For over twenty years, I have explored how we think, decide, and lead, translating complex research in neuroscience and psychology into actionable strategies. My work on the neural bases of human behaviour has been published in world-leading scientific journals and featured in the media and podcasts. You can read about some of my research and publications here.

MY OWN CAREER TRANSITION

My commitment to supporting people and organisations in their growth led me to transition from a purely academic career to establishing my own coaching and consultancy practice. This transition was not just a professional shift, but a personal one. Like many of my clients, I have navigated my own what-if loops and the tension of a multilayered identity. For a long time, I felt pulled in different directions—between the rigor of the laboratory and the human connection of psychology and coaching. I feared that choosing one meant cutting off a vital part of who I am.

I discovered that the most powerful path was not in narrowing my focus, but in bringing these parts together. Today, my practice is the resolution of that tension. I work at the intersection of coaching, psychology, and neuroscience, helping individuals and organisations understand and harness human potential through evidence-informed strategies.

MY VISION

I strongly believe in the power of coaching and its core idea that every individual is resourceful and capable of achieving their full potential. For me, this means guiding clients on a journey of discovery, equipping them with the clarity and confidence to navigate uncertainty, and helping them grow into more fulfilled, self-aware individuals.

By combining the biological “why” of neuroscience with the psychological “how” of coaching, I provide a framework for change that is both deeply empathetic and scientifically grounded.
